Hometown: Manchester, NH

Emma completed her undergraduate degree at Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA in 2016. After graduating, she worked as a research chemist at the US Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) in Hanover, NH. She joined the Mirica group as a graduate student in Fall 2019, and completed her PhD in 2024. She currently studies electrochemical detection of biologically relevant analytes with framework materials, and framework material self-assembly. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing and singing with the Handel Society of Dartmouth College.
