Abhinay Yadav was born and raised in Uttar Pradesh, India where He did his schooling. He did his bachelors in chemistry honors from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 2016. In the same year, he joined IISER Bhopal as an Integrated PhD (chemistry) student and completed his masters in 2019. He started his doctoral research in August 2019 under the supervision of Dr. Alakesh Bisai. His research work included the synthesis of naturally occurring Amaryllidaceae alkaloids. After defending his PhD thesis in January 2023, he immediately joined the Wu Group in February. In his spare time, he enjoys playing badminton, nature outings, reading and traveling.
