Biography

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Chemistry at Dartmouth College and part of the Robustelli group.

I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Biosciences at the University of Milan, where I worked on developing a computational method called "multi-eGO" to study the molecular mechanisms of protein aggregation and its implications in neurodegenerative diseases. I graduated in Molecular Biotechnology and Bioinformatics (MBB) from the same university in 2018, with a thesis on the development of new drugs against protein aggregation using ALS as a model.

I also participated in some structural studies on gelsolin and XIAP, a protein involved in amyloidosis and cancer respectively. Such studies involved crystallography, computational modelling and biochemical assays.
