Ethics Panel: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Aine Donovan, Executive Director of Dartmouth's Ethics Institute, will facilitate an interactive discussion. Our purpose is to engage you in a discussion about some of the complex ethical issues that face professionals conducting research today, whether your area of study is in the sciences, the social sciences, or the humanities. Over the summer, we are asking that you watch a Nova special. This case study will serve as the foundation for our evening discussion about professional ethics. The faculty panel will weigh in on issues that emerge from the NOVA presentation about professional ethics, but we will also call upon you to discuss the potential implication for researchers in the 21st Century. We anticipate a lively discussion between faculty and students over these complex issues. This is a fun event where you will get to know more of the people on campus who can help you, and also your fellow students in the different graduate programs at Dartmouth. Ethics Panel Info. Location: TBD. Mandatory Session.
